The Garvan Flow Cytometry Facility’s vision is to be one of Australia’s finest core facilities through excelling in customer service, advanced instrumentation and technical operandi.

Staff
Christopher Brownlee, Manager
Chris was trained at the Centenary Institute on a FACStarPlus, FACSVantage SE and had formal FACSAria training at BD in San Jose in May 2006. He also attended the National Flow Cytometry Resource Centre's Annual Course in Flow Cytometry in May 2009 and is an Australian representative for the International Society for Advancements in Cytometry. Chris became manager of the Garvan Flow Facility formally in April 2009.

Yovina Sontani, Operator
Yovina completed her PhD at ANU, Canberra in the Immunology Department. She began working in the Garvan Flow Facility in February 2009 and is currently operating cell sorters FACSVantage SE and FACSAria and maintains FACSCalibur, FACSCanto and LSRII
